A quick scroll through my Instagram account will reveal that I’ve forgone normal pants for pants with holes. Seriously. Just scroll through and take a look for yourself. I honestly can’t even remember the last time that I put on a pair of pants that didn’t have rips of some sort. And it’s not because I don’t own any, I have tons. I just seem to naturally gravitate towards things with holes in them. But it’s time for a change. There are only so many times that I can bare some knee.
This past weekend I decided to play around with the fishnet trend and layer a pair of stockings underneath my current favourite pair of boyfriend jeans. And I’m obsessed. I can see why everyone loves it. The subtle fishnet detailing is so fun to see peeking through my knee-holes. Is that a thing? I don’t really care if it isn’t, because we’re going to make it a thing now.
The stockings seriously made such a casual outfit of a pair of baggy jeans and sweater into something trendier and elevated and I can’t stop wearing the fishnets. Are you guys as head-over-heels in love with this new layering trend and can’t stop wearing the combo?
