It’s been a strange couple of days this week – the weather has been a little brisker, it hasn’t been as humid, and the wind has picked up quite a bit. Summer doesn’t always necessarily mean hot weather. So there are times when your daily outfit needs a slight adjustment that can easily be modified should the weather change midday.
Sometimes revisiting your summer wardrobe strategy is worthwhile even if it takes a couple of additional minutes in the morning to think through your outfit that day. This olive coloured light-weight trench has most definitely been my saviour for brisker days. I had originally left my place with this striped white blouse, hoping that it would be sufficient for the day, but later realized that it really wasn’t. Making the decision to bring along the trench for the day was definitely the right one.
