I’ve found that simplicity is key when adding new pieces to my wardobe. Basic silhouettes that work well when layered together are the most important pieces to me now. I used to gravitate towards statement pieces in hopes of standing out from the crowd, but now I much more appreciate a minimalistic style.
I have yet to completely lose my preference for statement pieces though, as seen evident by my silk floral pieces. But instead of dressing in head to toe statement, I prefer it to be done in smaller pieces.
