Besides wearing loose T’s as a relaxed fit shirt, sometimes it can be fun to grunge things up a little bit. I definitely don’t have one distinct specific style, and if you know me by now then you’d know that I love to experiment with my clothes all the time. One day I’ll show up in a frilly tutu with a bandeau bra, and then the next day I’ll be there with a pair of boots that have chains all over them. Like I said, I’m a chameleon.
This look may possibly be the most different out of anything I’ve ever worn in a long time. I don’t often bring this shirt out (usually it’s what I wear into bed), but I woke up this morning and it felt so comfortable and lived in that I just didn’t want to take it off. Don’t judge, I’m sure you’ve been tempted to go out in your pajamas multiple times before, but I’ve actually just gone ahead with that and legitimately worn it out.
But the reason why this shirt doesn’t often make it out into the real world with me every morning is due to its graphicness. Nope, there’s nothing too crazy going on on the shirt (unless you count that creepy guy’s face), but if you browse through my looks, you’ll notice that I don’t often wear graphic T-shirts. I’m just simply not a fan. As much as I love to try out different styles when it comes to fashion, graphic T’s just aren’t the first thing that come to my mind. That being said, I still like to experiment, so on odd days you’ll see me out and about with one on. You know, just trying to act like that cool girl that I wished I could be, but I know that I’m really not.
So instead of pretending to be someone that I’m not, I threw in a couple pieces that represented me, and afterwards, well, the whole outfit really did feel like a me outfit. Fashion doesn’t have to mean that you’re a slave of trends, but that you know how to modify a trend into something that you’d wear.
