I’m not one to believe in New Year’s resolutions, as I don’t think that you should wait till a new year just to change yourself or your lifestyle. I believe that the minute that you want change, you should enact upon it immediately. I do however believe in continuations. Such as continuing to pursue my dreams.
So much as happened within the past year, be it completing my Bachelors degree, moving to Toronto to getting my first big girl job. I’ve come to terms that I’m now facing real life, with very real consequences, such as curbing my spending habits so that my bills are paid on time (it’s quite difficult when you’re a fashion blogger!). And with life comes a whole new set of responsibilities which I’m excited and ready to take on. There’s already so much planned out for the upcoming year that I’m already brimming with excitement. I can’t share all of the details with you just yet, but as they unfold, I’ll definitely make it a point to let you in on everything.
With that being said, let’s take a few moments to look back on the past year and to quickly reminisce on the fleeting moments that pass us by so quickly. Remember to savor every last drop, as you never know when you’ll get another! I wish everybody a happy and safe New Year, and may a fresh start bring luck to your endeavors (if you’re a resolutionist)!
