Lace be honest here. Are you surprised that I’m again sharing another outfit with white? You really shouldn’t be. Seeing as this is most likely going to be a White Hot Summer (and it’s not even a pun, because it’s the temperatures have easily reached scorching levels already), you better be ready to see at least one white piece (if not two!) per post!
I’ve recently been on the hunt (again), for a cute lace up top. Even though I already have a black one, my wardrobe just really didn’t seem complete without a white one as well. Because you know how it goes, when you like something, why stop at getting it in only one colour? Or at least in my situation, one shade.
The other black lace-up top that I own is actually a body suit, and rather form fitting. I was looking for a slouchier version that I could casually tuck into my shorts, or even wear with a pair of loose fitting linen pants.
I was especially drawn to this top from Sanctuary Clothing because of the oversized silver grommets, that in their own right, added a lot of additional detailing to the already simple top. In order to allow it to shine, it was only appropriate to pair down the rest of the outfit. I recently picked up these uber soft black high-waisted shorts from Bench. and instantly knew that the top and bottom were destined to be paired together. As weird as that sounds, that’s exactly how I pick my outfits.
