Amidst the hottest weekend/week of the summer in Toronto (we’ve had a relatively chilly season), I took the chance to wear my tropical palm tree shorts one last time before the weather changes to fall. As much as I love sweater weather, my biggest gripe for the fall is waking up to chilly/frosty mornings only to have a blazing hot afternoon. In order to stay warm enough for the morning commute, I end up carrying a pullover or cardigan by the afternoon which is just as annoying to carry around.
As much as I hate having to carry extra pieces of clothes with me around all day, my favorite part about fall is the layering. Hopefully the weather changes quickly enough so that I can start throwing peacoats and dust jackets into the mix.
