Happy Monday! With this dreary weather that brought us buckets of snow overnight, I present to you some matching grey greatness with the help of Ever New. Before this year, I had never heard of this Australian brand. When it opened up a location at the Eaton Centre, I happened to pass it to browse through the Kendall & Kylie collection and was amazed by how on trend, yet high quality their designs were. You can easily grab a trendy shirt from any high street stores, but quality is often compromised. With Ever New, this sacrifice isn’t made, and quality goes hand-and-hand with style.
Being the human turtle that I am, I gravitated towards this soft-as-cashmere grey sweater. I was so in love with the sweater that I barely gazed at anything else. Luckily I decided to do one last circle through the various displays before heading into the changeroom – and boy was that a good idea. Right at the front of the store, sitting high up on a shelf, but hidden behind a pillar, was this stunning silver bag.
Similar in design to your typical brown lunch bag, but oh-so-much more luxe, this little silver treasure was practically begging to be held by my hands. So I picked it up – and everything felt so right. Sometimes you like clothes, but sometimes there’s that one piece of clothing that’s just meant for you. Almost as if the person who designed it had pictured you using it in their mind. Okay, maybe I’m stretching it a little here, but that’s basically what it felt like when my gaze landed on this silver bag. Obviously it made it home with me – along with the sweater. Because that one was definitely not sidelined for the bag at all. Go hard or go home right? I loved them both so much that I decided that it would only be fair to get both or to get none.
