Goodbye Winter

And good riddance! No but seriously, I’m overjoyed that we’re finally experiencing some spring-like weather around here. This jacket is long overdue for a good cleaning and begs to be put back into the closet for a 6 month break until it needs to be taken back out again.

When I first set eyes on this jacket months ago, I was hesitant on the purchase only because I had never thought that I would end up wearing it as much as I eventually would. Surprise, surprise – it turned out to be one of the most worn pieces of the season. It’s funny how sometimes the things that you least expect to be capsule pieces of our closet end up finding their way into it.

And while it had a good run for the 6 months of what was known as winter, I’m glad to say that it will now be returning back into the depths of my closet for a sweet and well deserved hibernation.
