If there’s one word to define me, it would be busy. Literally – all the goddamn time. If I’m not at work, then I’m either out shooting content, or at home editing my content and working on my blog. Which lends to me not getting much sleep. And in between all of the work, I do need some down time. Down time for me often translates into online shopping, especially at 2 AM in the morning when I’m not in the mood to work anymore, but I know that I still need to, so I give myself a small 15 minute break and e-window shop.
It’s a bad habit, but also sometimes it’s also a blessing because I often stumble onto sales just as they’re launching post-midnight, right before everyone else has woken up and gotten the chance to grab the best selections. Which worked in my favour when I started browsing Reebonz‘s Mid-Year Sale. For those of you who aren’t yet familiar with Reebonz, let me break it down for you. The site operates as a consignment platform where consumers can list their pre-loved bags that could use a new owner. But besides that, Reebonz also carries a vast range of brand new bags as well which have never been worn. This is where I stumbled upon the Chloe Faye bag of my dreams in the dead of night. Fashion never sleeps, so why should you?!
Seriously though, if I had gone to sleep at a decent hour that night, I wouldn’t have found the perfect Chloe bag. Ever since the design was released a year or two ago, I’ve always had my eye on the Faye. Not the medium size, but the smaller version. Every girl in Toronto seemingly owned it in black overnight and I got over it. But when I saw the bag again, only in the khaki colour, I was head-over-heels in love. Not only had I never seen anyone else sporting that specific shade, but the khaki bag was constructed of all leather as opposed to the option that I’ve mostly seen in stores, which was a leather body with a suede flap. Different, but nice. And that’s how a Chloe Faye became my latest acquisition!

Honestly if I could participate in this contest I so totally would because there are so many more bags listed on the site that need to make their way into my closet!
