Happy Monday and Happy Lunar New Year! P and I went on a very quick trip back to Ottawa over the weekend to celebrate the new year with our family and friends. Out of all the trips that we’ve taken, this one definitely had to be the shortest one yet. We had a weekend packed with family brunches, dinners and multiple get togethers.
I always think that going back home to Ottawa is going to be relaxing but that never really is quite the case. We’re so busy running around with packed schedules and making sure that we see everyone that the weekend just ends up feeling like any other busy work day. But I wouldn’t trade up that time for anything else in the world.
I know that I always say this, but I can’t believe how quickly time flies by. We’re already on the second month of 2016 (raise your hand if you still accidentally write 2015 every once in awhile). But I can still vividly remember Christmas as if it was just yesterday!
