I decided to change up this month’s Lust Listt a little bit and shift the focus from things that I’ve been wanting, over to things I wish I received for Valentine’s Day. No, it won’t be your overly sappy version because that’s not who I am, and because I’ve spent countless Valentine’s Days alone as well, I know how it can be when you’re single. But if there isn’t a special someone out there who’s buying gifts for you, then you can always swap gifts with your friends. Or even gift yourself some things, because we’re all perfectly capable of that right? High-five for all of us independents out there!
- Black Boucle Coat (ZARA) | $149.00
Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean that you have to wear a heavy duty parka everyday. If you layer your outfit properly, then you can get away with a lighter coat. I personally love this lightweight coat because of it’s oversized cut, which means I can pile on the bulky layers and still stay warm while looking good. Who said that burritos can’t be attractive? - Pyramid Top Stud Earings (My Femme Crush) | $25.00
I recently featured these studs on one of my posts and it’s completely different from my usual pearl earrrings. I’ve been really into applying marble contact paper to canvases and table tops so it goes without a say that I’m completely down for marble earrings as well. Plus, these are relatively affordable, so if someone wants to gift me a second pair you know.. - Ribbed Beanie Hat (ZARA) | $17.90
Another way to stay warm with minimal jacket coverage is by sporting a warm beanie. Or as we call it in Canada, a toque. Show your beloved that you care that they stay warm with season with a cute toque that’s completely on trend. - Romanesque Leggings (Titika Active Couture) | $106.00
It’s still early enough in the year for resolutioners to be active in the gym. The best way to keep someone motivated is with fresh gear for the gym, and I can definitely say that it would work for me! I’m currently on the hunt for a new pair of leggings since my current ones have been pilling, and these ones with side cutouts look amazing! - Dionne Mini Buckle Backpack (My Femme Crush) |$40.00
90’s knapsacks are popping up everywhere right now, but you shouldn’t be shelling out $100 for something that size. I fell in love with the size, price and details on this one and think that if you’re shopping for someone who loves to be on trend, then this will be the perfect gift for them! - #1991 (LA CC Beauty) | $12.99
Sometimes Valentine’s Day can just be a day that you dedicate to yourself. And what better way to celebrate than by giving yourself a mani-pedi? LA CC Beauty is actually a completely vegan company (bet you didn’t know that existed for cosmetics) and from Canada. I love supporting local brands and have tried out a couple of their shades and can promise that even though they have a different formulation, they work fantastically! - Shotberries (Shot Berry) | $3.00
Who doesn’t love chocolate covered strawberries?! And when coupled with a shot of liquor? Imagine all of the fun that could ensue! If it were me, I’d pick the Pink Moscato shots. - E Cozy Sweater (Titika Active Couture) | $138.00
Instead of getting dressed up, sometimes it feels the best to be dressed down. But dressing down doesn’t have to mean being bummy. This clean cut sweater is both comfortable and stylish, so you could wear it to the gym, going out for groceries or even grabbing a cup of coffee with your date. - Inferno Bra (Titika Active Couture) | $40.00
Since I’m on the search for new workout gear, I’ve also been needing a new bra as well. On my Lust Listt this month is this lacy little number that’s box sexy and functional. Working out doesn’t always have to be a chore (or a bore), so with this lingerie inspired piece, my confidence in the gym soars.
