Happy Monday! Well, it’s officially fall. Which means out comes all of my denim tops again. You probably wouldn’t have guessed it upon first glance, but this so-called jacket is actually a top. Since the weather hasn’t completely chilled to a true fall quite just yet, I still wanted to be able to wear my summery pieces without feeling cold, so I turned this top into a jacket.
I’ll be taking a little girls trip back to NYC this week (woohoo for 3-day work weeks!) and have been debating back and forth between comfort or style. I have a collection of dresses that I still haven’t had the chance to wear over the summer, but I don’t want to risk the chance of walking around town freezing my butt off. This top made the cut for what I’ll be packing. I’m obsessed with how easy it transitions back-and-forth between a top or a jacket, so on days that I’m feeling ridiculously lazy, I can just button it up as a top and call it a day.
Let’s also talk about the elephant in the room here. I got a new purse! I’m not one to make impulsive purchases (except for my Chanel, which to this day came with zeo regrets), and have been lusting after this little Gucci crossbody for as long as I can remember. I’ll probably end up chatting about it in a whole other post, and how it’s been the best purchase of this year by far, but I’ll leave that for another day!
