Dress – Banana Republic x Olivia Palermo / Shoes – Zara / Bag – Chloe (Reebonz) / Sunglasses – Covry / Bracelets – David Yurman (similar here), Links of London
I first learned of Olivia Palermo from the spin off show from The Hills – The City. The show didn’t exactly portray her in the best light, but I was instantly drawn to her for her perfectly put together outfits each and every single episode, regardless of the situation. Be it chilling at home, to interning, Olivia always looked perfectly put together and had a sense of class about her. Ever since discovering her from The City, I’ve been following her on social. A little creepy I know, but she’s stunning, her sense of style is impeccable, and did I mention that her husband is also a beautiful specimen of a male as well? Those two need to get together and produce some mini-me’s already because we’re waiting!
Anyways, I digress. When I found out that she was collaborating with Banana Republic, I couldn’t wait to check out the collection, and I was definitely impressed. It’s probably a bit of an understatement for me to say that I want the entire collection. No but seriously, can I haz it all? Please? Pretty please? I refrained from picking up every single piece, because it wouldn’t be smart to own the entire collection knowing that I would probably end up shopping halfway through the season anyways.
But I knew that the paisley printed maxi just had to find its way into my closet – and find its way in it did! Right now we’re currently facing a last minute heat wave even though that summer is officially over, and I’m loving loose and flowy dresses. The humidity is suffocating and I can’t imagine how else I would survive this heat than some loose and flowy dresses. Bring on the frill and wind! I’m a huge fan of the dresses in motion action with lots of swishes. If not the whole collection, I had to have this dress – so into my wardrobe it goes!
But besides the dress, I also had my eyes on the beautiful trench that she styles with some fun cuffs. That girl is a styling dream – literally everything that she wears looks good. I don’t think that I’ve ever hated a single thing that she’s worn.
