Happy Friday! In about 5 days, I’ll be laying on a beach soaking up the sun – I can’t even begin to contain my excitement. It’s been too long since I’ve had the chance to truly, really relax. But enough of that, today is the last day of the week before the weekend (duh!) and I’m so ready to turn off my wind and relax. Just kidding, when do I actually ever relax? The correct answer here is only when I’m asleep and no one can bug me. Otherwise you’ll always find me hooked up to some sort of device.
Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of viewing the new Beauty and the Beast movie compliments of Swarovksi as part of an event that showcased their new collaboration with the film. If you followed along on my Instagram story, then you’ll have caught a glimpse of the beautiful collection and a stunning little ring that I got to try on.
I was really excited to see the movie since it falls under the category of classic Disney princess movies – which is basically what I was raised on, so it was insanely nostalgic. Super cheese, but I wanted to get into the mood of the movie by channeling some mad Beast vibes into this outfit via the Victorian blazer and double breasted blazer. Did I nail the look? I do have to hand it to the location lending to the overall feel, or else this editorial definitely wouldn’t have come out the way they did. So shout out to my photog, Aney, for capturing these lovely photos!
And if you guys haven’t gone to see the new Beauty and the Beast movie yet, I highly recommend it. I also recommend that you bring along some tissues because there are definitely some tear-jerker moments in there. Not spoiling anything, just a heads up in case you don’t want your makeup to run all over the place in the dark.
