Time flies when you’re having fun. I can’t believe that July is already over and that August is here. It just goes to show how fleeting time is – but strange too. I wait all year for my birthday to come along and the count down to the celebrations feels agonizing on the months leading up to it. But as soon as it’s over, the months fly by as if it never happened. And then time just slows down again as the day approaches. It’s strange.
This month’s picks for my Lust Listt are a little bit of a mix as it incorporates a wide variety of things, not just items that are seasonal. Regardless of whatever time of the year it is, I know for sure though that there will always be a pair of shoes that a want. In fact, this month there are two!

The gladiator silhouette was all the rage about 5 years ago and I’m glad that I’ve kept my old ones around since they’re making a resurgence this year. I’m feeling the neutral tone of this snake-skin pair though and can’t wait to get my hands on some new sandals in different designs. - Walk The Line Breast Piece Set – Girl With The Temporary Tattoo | $22.00
I love the lace design of this breast piece tattoo but I’d never be able to commit to getting a real one in such an obvious place on my body. - Bird of Paradise White Swimsuit – Lychee Swimwear | Top $85.00, Bottom $75.00
I’m stepping out of my comfort scene with these daintier designs and can’t stop admiring the beautiful bird of paradise print as well. Maybe that’s what’s keeping my transfixed. - Silver Textured Septum Ring – Windsor Store | $4.90
Similar to the breast piece tattoo, I can’t commit to getting my septum pierced. I’m not down with piercing anything except for my earlobes at the moment so these faux septum rings are perfect for giving the look a try! - Figuier Large Candle Indoor & Outdoor Edition – Dipytque Paris | $290.00
If you hadn’t already figured it out by now, I have a thing for candles. And the larger the better. I’ve always been a fan of the Diptyque ones so finding out that they’ve made large ones for both indoor and outdoor use is like a dream come true for me! - Bucket Bag – Mansur Gavriel | $595.00
Simplicity at its finest, I love the craftsmanship and clean lines of this bucket bag. Although I’m an all-go for the Flamma lining, I think that the Argento lining would better suit my style. - Lace Up Heeled Shoes – ZARA | $49.90
I told you that I had 2 pairs of shoes in this month’s Lust Listt! These laced up heels are similar to the gladiators, except less strappy and more ropey.
