Growing up, some of my fondest memories revolve around the family room of my parents’ house. In my toddler stages, I remember being chased around and around the coffee table. It only took me a year to realize that running in between and through the legs of the table and not around was what it took to win the game of cat and mouse. Fast forward several years later (think of a 7 year old me), and I was the one chasing my younger brother around the table.
Fast forward again a couple more years, and I’m using the coffee table as a support to prop up a meter stick, which was then used as framework for a bedsheet tent. My brother and I would spend hours crawling around in between the tunnels made out of makeshift bedsheets draped over top of a meter stick in between the couch and the coffee table.
